Q.How are Fire Safe Projects funded? A.  MFSC acquires funds by applying for State and Federal Grants in the Autumn and receives its grant awards shortly after the new year. Customarily, MFSC splits the costs of a Project with the benefitting land owner or homeowner association. However, stakeholders shares can be non-monetary in the form of in-kind contributions of actual work. These kinds of contributions often turn out to be wonderful community building events.
