About the Monterey County Fire Safe Council
The Monterey Fire Safe Council is committed to protecting your lives and your property from harm by wildfire as well as providing public education regarding fire use and hazards.
Mission Statement
- Protect lives and property from catastrophic wildfires through citizen education and mobilization, and multi-agency partnerships.
- Support projects that make homes, neighborhoods, and communities fire safe by management of natural and man-made resources.
