Submit Proposed MCCWPP Revisions
The Monterey Fire Safe Council (MFSC) is accepting proposed changes to the Monterey County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (MCCWPP). Proposed changes will be considered for inclusion when the MCCWPP is updated. The MCCWPP recommends that it be updated every two to three years. An exception is the table in Appendix D (recommended fuel reduction projects), which may be updated on an on-going basis.
The MFSC requests that proposed changes be submitted in markup, with deletions shown in strikeout, and additions in underline (i.e., deletions in strikeout and additions in underline).
If you wish to propose extensive revisions you may request an editable Microsoft Word version of portions of the MCCWPP by emailing: mccwpp@firesafemonterey.org.
