Fire Recovery Materials / Preparing for Winter After Wildfire
Evacuation Centers and Shelters (may be obsolete)
Monterey County and Weather Tech Raceway management are joining together to offer space for fire evacuees who wish to shelter in their RVs at the Laguna Seca recreation area at no charge. Evacuees with recreational vehicles should come to the county evacuation center at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The center is located at the pavilion on the raceway site. Make a left turn when you past the guard gate and go left up the hill. Please check in at the center. To receive a voucher to stay at the RV area at no charge, you must be able to provide proof of an address that is in the fire and evacuation zone, whether it is current ID, a bill or statement.

- Several community members, in conjunction with This Club Saves Lives, CV Kiwanis, Community Fund for Carmel Valley (which has a new Fire Relief Fund) are running a food and supply distribution and donation operation at Carmel Valley Community Center, nightly from 5-7 p.m.
